Editorial & Writing Services

Until 2022, I spent my entire professional life in the book trade. I’ve worked in bookshops, as a research assistant for a biographer, and as a direct-mail catalogue copywriter. I’ve been a publicist, editor, and (finally) a publisher. I’ve even packed books in a warehouse. I’ve also written a novel, two dozen short stories, three plays, a number of essays, several nonsense poems, and four non-fiction books. I’ve also ghostwritten several memoirs, and I edited a magazine for five years.

I’m available for consultation on manuscripts and I provide the full range of editorial services—from editing, copyediting, preparing endnotes, drafting book proposals, and ghostwriting, to offering feedback on a manuscript. Contact me to ask me about the scope of work and my rates. Here’s a brief resume.

Breeze Harper, The World Peace Diet by Will Tuttle, The Green Belt Movement by Wangari Maathai, No Easy Answers: The Truth Behind Death at Columbine by Brooks Brown and Rob Merritt, Aphro-ism: Essays on Pop Culture, Feminism, and Black Veganism by Two Sisters by Aph and Syl Ko, and Divine Therapy & Addiction by Fr. Thomas Keating and Tom Skinner.

Ghostwriting History

I’ve ghostwritten or co-ghostwritten titles, for Lantern and other publishers, that span religion, international environmental public policy, and veganism. These include:
